Add some color to your home with local art pieces

DEGREE:  Larson has a bachelor's of fine arts degree in painting from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and lives in Oshkosh.  He began drawing as a child and today is a sought after up-an-coming artist locally and in the Midwest.  He's won numerous awards in juried art competitions such as the Oshkosh 100.

MEDIUM OF CHOICE:  Acrylic painting, covering subjects that span nature, landscapes, people, and even events ( "journalistic painting," as he calls it).  But as far as picking a favorite?  "To pick a favorite would deny myself what I love about art - the opportunity." he says.

QUOTABLE:  "It's just this overwhelming sense of joy I have about art and the life that parallels it," Larson says.  "I never worry about still painting; it's never a question, but just to learn and grow."
